What's New for Sea-Doo in 2020?

Big Updates for 2020

Late in the summer of 2019, Sea-Doo thrilled the crowd assembled at the Bombardier Recreational Products annual meeting in Las Vegas. The world took its first look at the maker’s 2020 lineup, and Sea-Doo has some big changes in store for several models.

GTI and Performance

The GTI series now comes with a configurable hull with a removable passenger seat. The updated body offers more storage space, a watertight phone box, and a lower center of gravity. It also features the LinQ attachment system, enabling the easy addition of a ski rope hitch, cooler, or other accessories. Sea-Doo offers an available Rotax engine that enhances the GTI family’s fuel efficiency while still delivering plenty of aquatic thrills.

If you opt for the GTI 130 or 170, you’ll enjoy extra convenience and safety features like a speed limiter, boarding ladder, slow mode, and a 100-watt sound system.

The particularly sporty Performance series also received several updates for 2020. The GTR comes with Sea-Doo’s new hull, as well as a fresh supercharged engine with an additional 130cc over the previous year model. You’ll also find a new digital display on the console. The RXT-X 300 now carries an 18.5-gallon fuel tank, allowing you to venture farther and play longer.

Wake and Spark

Perfect for towing wakeboards, skis, and tubes, the Wake 170 received several updates for 2020. It now sports a new hull, and power comes courtesy of a Rotax 1630 ACE. The watercraft also comes with a 4.5-inch digital display. The Wake Pro 230 arrives in 2020 with an expanded 18.5-gallon tank, and it runs on a Rotax 1630 supercharged engine.

The lightweight, remarkably affordable Spark is now available with two new color combinations – Chili Pepper/Pear and Blue Raspberry/Pear.

Fish Pro

Introduced just one year prior, the Fish Pro also sports the new Rotax 1630 ACE engine under the hood, packing 170 horsepower for speedy acceleration. Sea-Doo’s fishing-focused watercraft comes standard with the Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 62cv fish finder, a bench seat, intelligent throttle control with a trolling motor, and a cooler for your catch.
